This study focuses on the importance of in vitro antagonistic effect of three indigenous strains of Trichoderma harzianum against tomato fungal diseases in Oued Righ region, in order to introduce them into a preventive control program. Trichotecium roseum, Botrytis cinerea, Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Alternaria sp., and Fusarium oxysporum f. sp radicis lycopersici fungi have been isolated from this plant, identified then directly confronted to antagonistic strains of T. harzianum in a temperature of 26 °C. The results showed that after six days in maximum, antagonists inhibit the mycelial growth of phytopathogenic fungi with rates between 36 and 57%. Beyond the 6th day, T. harzianum invades the colonies of phytopathogenic fungi, which sporulates on, revealing its highly inhibitory activity. |
