dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to reveal the psychological pain level among cancer patients and to know the differences in its levels according to gender, age and the type of treatment. The study was conducted on a sample of 230 patients attending anti-cancer centers, Using the depression, anxiety and stress scale (DASS21). The Results of the study showed that about (68.69٪) suffer from low levels of depression and (63.04٪) of anxiety, while (47.82٪) had an average Stress. The results also showed a significant differences in the level of depression, anxiety and stress, according to age, and it was higher among females compared to males. The deferences were singnificant in the level of stress in favor of patients receiving chemiotherapy. While there were no differences in the level of Psychological pain according to age. As a conclusion it is necessary for health care providers to know and evaluate the psychological pain for the purpose of providing support and appropriate care for patients.en_US
