dc.description.abstractThe social networking with the spread and development of networks has constituted a dynamic movement, that enriched what is now called new media-alternative, which changes the nature of social relationships, and excellently raises the frequency of individual participation in the political life, especially after the wave of Arabic democratic transition and political change, which contributed to the birth individual's national identity that promotes and keeps pace with the principles of democracy and freedom. In contrast, these networks have been created after the cancellation of time and place phobia. The dominated virtual world with its characteristics that ideologically emphasize that the origin of these networks is a youth fashion no more, that isolated the individual from his national values and his Arabic identity, especially in the light of the emergence of the extrinsic global virtual citizenship, and the individuals' loss of confidence in their countries' governments notably those in a state of political instability or failure in building a democratic state.Thus; the present paper tries to the discussion of the problem: the extent to which affect the default citizenship through networks of social communication in the national identity of the Arab countries? To discuss this problem has been adopting a descriptive approach analytical work, to analyze the issue apportionment in turn to three axes; describes the first axis is the phenomenon of virtual citizenship through networks of social communication, and trying to analyze how contribute to these networks in building national identity, or the third stop when the limpness of values of national identity and the role of the default citizenship.en_US
