Estimation du potentiel de la production d’hydrogène à partir de la biomasse

Abstract

Au moment où le monde a commence à entrevoir la fin du pétrole relativement bon marché et où la prise de conscience collective se tourne en faveur de la lutte contre l’effet de serre, l’utilisation de la biomasse et des déchets comme source d’énergie et/ou la fourniture d’hydrogène constitue une alternative particulièrement attrayante et un enjeu majeur pour l’avenir de la société. La biomasse, forme d’énergie renouvelable, est capable de couvrir une part importante de la consommation énergétique d’un pays comme l'Algérie de manière durable. Dans ce travail, nous avons effectué une étude estimative du potentiel de la production d’hydrogène à partie du palmier dattier en Algérie. Afin de valoriser l’hydrogène produit par la gazéification de déchets, une application sur le secteur du transport routier est réalisée.

At a time when the world has begun to see the end of relatively cheap oil and where collective awareness is turning in favor of the fight against the greenhouse effect, the use of biomass and waste as a source of energy and/or hydrogen supply is a particularly attractive alternative and a major challenge for the future of society. Biomass, a form of renewable energy, is capable of covering a significant part of the energy consumption of a country like Algeria in a sustainable way. In this work, we carried out an estimate of the potential of hydrogen production from the date palm waste in Algeria. In order to upgrade the hydrogen produced by the gasification of waste, an application to the road transport sector is carried out.
