Asphaltenes and the resins represent the two principal components of the heavy and polar fraction of the oilfluids, Asphaltenes can precipitate at various stages during the recovery and the transport of oil; porous environments, the line of production, valves and pipelines. Six samples were extracted has to leave the oil field Hassi Messaoud by using to it standard method of extraction ASTM, these asphaltenes were characterized by using the ultimate analysis, the infra-red with transform of Fourier (IRTF) The results obtained showed a significant difference in chemical structure for the three samples, a good agreement of results between the ultimate analysis and techniques FTIR was observed.en_US
