dc.description.abstractFrequent suicide attempts attract the concern and attention of mental health professionals, as a result of the continuous rise of this phenomenon that is due to several factors. Among these factors are events of life that interact with a fragile personality. In this article, we will present the case of a 29 year woman who attempted to commit suicide, and received was hospitalized in the mental health department of the Francophone University Hospital in Bejaia (Algeria). She had a clinical interview and two hypothetical tests (Rorschach and AT9).The results revealed that the self-image was threatened by decay due to the events of life, and the failure of the seduction and abandonment movements.en_US
