Abstract

This paper focuses on a very important topic, the Algerian economy, where the researcher tried to determine the most important challenges facing the Algerian economy. While many researchers delve into the study of the Algerian economy and its problems by purely economic study, the researcher tried through this paper to study the Algerian economy from another angle by using the political entrance, and this is the scientific added value to the subject of the Algerian economy, The Study and the research in the Algerian economic system - if we call it a system - from the economic view may lead us to a narrow view about this subject, which can’t determine some of the challenges that are - according to the researcher - among the most important challenges facing the Algerian economy, To the extent that it is hard to reform the Algerian economy Without exceeding this challenges, which the researcher collects in two key challenges: the problem of state building and the absence of a community project. The absence of these two factors has had a profound impact on the Algerian economy. The inability of the Algerian authorities to recognize the importance of these two factors has made all economic policies spin in a vicious circle without achieving their desired objectives.
