The use of solar in isolated sites for different applications, such as water pumping presents many interests for third world countries which are in real need for drinking water. However photovoltaic generators do have two main disadvantages namely: High cost, bad efficiency. The developments of permanent magnet and power electronics have helped in variable speed machine development. The work presented in this memory is related to modelisation, simulation, control and optimisation of pumping solar systems. The chain of this system is composed of photovoltaic panels, voltage inverter, permanent magnet synchronous motor, centrifugal pump and a hydraulic circuiten_US
