dc.description.abstract | The objective of this work is to study the effect of Holmium ions on thermal and spectroscopic properties of fluoro-phosphate glass with molar composotion NaPO3-ZnF2-SrF2-SnF2-Al(PO3)3: HoF3. We also calculated the various spectroscopic parameters of the studied samples such as the radiative transition propbalities and lifetimes, based on the Jude-Ofelt theory. The results showed that these samples can be good candidates for the laser emission | - |
