Abstract

Violence is one of the bad social phenomena prevalent among societies, and it has a negative impact on all groups of society, including children, which is the vulnerable group in society. They need preventive and social protection mechanisms that reduce violence against children. Through this study on combating violence against children, which is titled "Forms of Violence Against Children and Mechanisms for Prevention". We will address a set of elements, beginning with an introduction on the subject, then the concept of childhood and violence, then to the forms of violence against children, which is (psychological violence, physical violence, sexual violence, violence among children, media violence, child abuse, child exploitation) Then, mechanisms for preventing violence against children, and finally a general summary on the topic.
