dc.description.abstractThis paper was presented to highlight the importance of the psychosocial stresses of the family of the child with autism spectrum and the extent of their impact on their mental health. Is there a difference between the parents in these two variables? The study sample consisted of 30 families (15 mothers and 15 fathers) Randomly chosen from the pediatric clinic of Franan Hanafi Hospital for Mental Medicine. The following measures were applied: Sidney Crouon and by Ziad Ahmed Sartawi and Abdel Aziz Al Sayed.. The results showed that the families of children with autism spectrum were very stressed, especially mothers, compared to fathers. As for the level of mental health of parents was low, especially in mothers compared to fathersen_US
