dc.description.abstractThe Hassi Messaoud field is the largest oil field in Algeria, it is located in the western part of the Saharan Platform. The objective of this study is to evaluate the petrophysical parameters of the reservoir. The characterization of petrophysical parameters makes it possible to establish the profile of reservoir and to determine the behavior of these formations. The realization of this study is based on the use of log records such as (Gamma Ray, Neutron, density…etc.) from wells drilled in the field of study, to obtain measurements of petrophysical parameters (porosity, hydrocarbon saturation, reservoir thickness and the volume of clay). These petrophysical parameters are obtained using Techlog software.en_US
