dc.description.abstractThe study aimed at identifying the most important incentives for recreational sports activity in the state of Tiaret, and identifying the nature of the relationship between the stimuli of recreational sports activity and psychological happiness and its components in the elderly people. The researcher used the descriptive approach, and the study sample included thirty-six (36) elderly people. The researcher applied a questionnaire of recreational sports stimuli, and psychological happiness scale. The results of the study revealed the most important stimuli for recreational sports activity related to the psychological, social, cultural and health aspects. In addition , there was a statistically significant positive correlation between axes of the questionnaire of the stimuli for recreational sports activity, and the dimensions of psychological happiness, and the overall degree of psychological happinessen_US
