dc.description.abstractThe building is not only a purely structural engineering designs, belong to a trend or certain architectural philosophy, but it is also a reflection of human needs in the particular environment, an environment carrying special cultural characteristics, social and ecological environment, representing the outcome of social values, religious, intellectual, and philosophical convictions. Even the aesthetic, even the primitive man who lived caves and grottoes he painted on the walls of the meanings of the rituals of his cult. This study came to reveal the most important cultural values embodied in the residence of Arab Islamic architecture, which reflects the culture of Islamic society.This study was carried out through a seminary reading of the most important physical forms of the house in the Arab Islamic architecture.The research concludes that housing in the Arab Islamic architecture has been built according to Islamic values and perceptions in the community, and it is an intensive symbolic system that reflects the characteristics of Islamic cultureen_US
