dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study is to reveal the history of preparatory education in Algeria. Indeed, education in Algeria has gone through different historical stages, the most important of which are probably before, during and after colonization. Also, Algeria after independence cancelled the cycle of preparatory education which was designed for children of colonizers and their followers during colonization on the grounds that they were few and could not assimilate a large number of children at that time. With time and after major transformations, Algeria has taken over the preparatory education cycle in its latest reforms of the education system by integrating preparatory education into the primary education cycle. This is the reason why I have started the subject in this research work and the identification of preparatory education in Algeria, in a historical study | en_US |
