The weakened states lived through a black period in their history during the period between the beginning of the imperialist phenomenon and the end of World War II. But this blackness was not completely as most of them imagined it, as it left a diverse legacy in the various countries. The architectural heritage is the most important evidence of this heritage. In this article, we shed light on an aspect of this heritage through some examples from the Zian around the city of Khenifra in central Morocco, and we try to highlight the negative and positive aspects of this heritage from a historical and heritage point of view.en_US
