tendance globale à la baisse et donc à la sécheresse The objective of this study is to quantify and analyze the temperature and precipitation regimes in Algeria in the context of climate change. We have analyzed an important number of climatic data recorded at 20 meteorological stations spread over the national territory and, which extend up to 52 years (1969-2020). Analysis of the homogeneity and trend of the observation series were performed using the Pettitt and Mann-Kendall test, respectively. The results obtained show that the period (2001-2020) symbolizes the hot years for almost all the stations where the average temperature anomaly was always positive with an increase of + 0.7 ° C, and the years 2003, 2010, 2014, 2016, and 2018 are the hottest years on record. The variability of precipitation indicates a rainfall trend is unclear and the succession of wet and dry years is disorderly. The chronological evolution of the Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI) shows an overall decreasing trend and therefore drought. |
