dc.description.abstractIn this research, an experimental study was conducted, combining the cylindrical solar concentrator with the simple monoclinic solar distillerwith a view to improving its productivity. The results of the experimental research carried out show that the addition of the solar concentrator with an equivalent cut to the solar distiller improves the productivity of the solar distiller during daylight hours. Hot water outside the concentrator was used to heat the water in the distiller basin and thereby accelerate the evaporation of water. The results of the experimental research also showed an increase in the amount of water produced by the improved distiller compared to the witness distiller. The total distillation during the day reached 3336ml, compared to the witness distiller, which reached 2987ml, resulting from the thermal energy provided by the solar concentrator to raise the temperature of the distilled water, thereby accelerating the evaporation of the salt water and obtaining the distilled water .en_US
