dc.description.abstractThe aim of this research is to determine the level of emotional intelligence in a sample of secondary education teachers and its relation to classroom management. The sample consists of 80 teachers from secondary education. Two measures were applied to the sample: Emotional Intelligence Scale Osman and Rizk (2001) and the Grade Management Scale Badr (1986). The results of the reseasch: The teachers of the sample have a high level of emotional intelligence. There are no significant differences in emotional intelligence attributed to the gender and seniority variable. A positive correlative relation was found at 0.01, between the emotional intelligence scale and their scores on the grade management scale.en_US
