Corona Pandemic and the Psychological Pressures under Home Quarantine

Abstract

هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على مستوى الضغوط النفسية في ظل الحجر المنزلي لدى عينة من المجتمع الجزائري، وكذا الكشف عن الفروق ذات الدلالة الإحصائية إن وجدت، في درجة الضغوط النفسية تعزى لمتغير الجنس و العمر. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي. حيث تم بناء أداة البحث والمتمثلة في الاستبيان المكون من24 فقرة والموزعة على ثلاثة أبعاد ( البعد النفسي ، الاقتصادي، الاجتماعي) طبق الاستبيان على عينة قوامها (259 فرد) من المجتمع الجزائري . وتمت معالجة بيانات الدراسة باستخدام الحزمة الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية باستخدام:المتوسط الحسابي،الانحراف المعياري، و اختبار "ت" لعينتين مستقلتين. توصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى وجود مستوى متوسط من الضغوط النفسية لدى أفراد العينة و إلى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغير الجنس و العمر. The aim of the present study is to identify the level of psychological pressuresunder home quarantine among a sample of the Algerian society, and to reveal statistically significant differences, if it exists, in the degree of psychological pressures that are attributed to the variables of sex and age. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive approach has been used. For the collection of data a questionnaire,consists of 24 items that cover three dimensions (psychological, economic, and social),has been designed. The research sample consists of 259 individuals from the Algerian society. The research data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) using: the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and ‘T’ test for two independent samples. The results reveal that there is an average level of psychological pressures among the sample members and there are no statistically significant differences due sex and agevariables.
