dc.description.abstract | This article is part of an interdisciplinary perspective mainly addressing the breakthroughs of two recent fields of study, which are the didactics of multilingualism and the socio-didactic approach. It addresses the sociolinguistic representations of French as a foreign language (FLE) among youths in the wilaya of Adrar, as well as their perception of multilingualism within their society. Throughout this study, we aim essentially to discover the different sociolinguistic representations that our participants have vis-à-vis the French language. Similarly, the survey of this population is undertook in a Saharan context specific by its location and its cosmopolitan character that will allow us better describe the position of the FLE in the multilingual sociolinguistic landscape of this wilaya. | en_US |
