Geothermal resources in the Illizi region are considered an alternative to oil exploitation in the Algerian Sahara; these potentialities have been the subject of several authors over the century. The present work deals with the geothermal characteristics of the lower crust in the Triassic basin of the region; this involves the mapping of the regional variance of the depth of the Curie (CPD) and at the Moho discontinuity. We are attempting to build a conceptual model of the geothermal system in the Triassic provinces of the Illizi region using a combination of magnetic and gravity data. This model can make it possible to visualize the diversity of the thermal and structural properties of the earth's crust, and the heat transfer mechanism according to the geodynamic behaviors of the Moho and the magmatic basement.en_US
