The present study aims to uncover the psychometric characteristics of the scale of perfectionism among the students of the Algerian University, which is the measure of perfectionism of Samira Mohamed Shind (2016), which applied to the Egyptian environment. Our study focused on trying to identify the psychometric characteristics of the scale (honesty and stability) In order to achieve these objectives, a sample of (500) male and female students were selected in the departments of the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences at the University of Djelfa, of which 118 males and 382 females were randomly selected. In order to verify the hypotheses of the study, the stability of the scale was calculated using two methods: the Alpha Cronbach method and the midterm fragmentation method (Guttmann coefficient), and the validity of the scale was verified by the discrete honesty of the items and the internal consistency of the scale and its sub-dimensions was confirmed. The results of the study confirmed the quality of the psychometric properties of the scale of perfection in the Algerian environment.en_US
