dc.description.abstractThe main alternative source of energy with less environmental impact is the one of the natural gas, which contains some components contaminants at its geological deposits, like CO2 witch have a great major environmental risk to the atmosphere and amenities gas processes. The object traced in this work is to simulate a decarbonation unit in the treatment gas complex of Alrar. The decarbonation is low on the absorption phenomenon, in this work we applied the chemical absorption using the MEA as absorber, the simulation was done by ASPEN HYSYS software, results shows that the unit content decreases the CO2 to very small quantities (less than 1%).en_US
