dc.description.abstract | In Algeria, despite the colossal financial resources made available to the SME sector for more than 20 years, the latter is struggling to take off. Indeed, according to the latest "Doing Business 2020" report from the World Bank on the business climate in the world, Algeria is ranked 157th out of 190 economies. This ranking shows that Algerian SMEs face multiple constraints. Thus, the purpose of our article is to analyze, through a field survey of 70 entrepreneurs, the constraints faced by SMEs in Algeria. Our first observation is that these constraints are cultural, social and economic, which calls on the State to rethink its public policy in favor of entrepreneurship. | en_US |
