Portée de l’élevage camelin dans la région de Bordj Omar Idriss – Sud-Est de l’Algerie-

Abstract

Le dromadaire se caractérise par sa capacité à s'adapter à la rudesse écologique saharienne lui permettant de se reproduire et produire. La présente étude dont l’objectif réside à situer la portée de l’élevage camelin dans la région de Bordj Omar Idriss. C’est sur la base d’enquêtes menées auprès de 22 chameliers que ressort la majorité d’éleveurs qui sont sédentaires, de type naisseurs. Par ailleurs, deux types de système de production ont été identifiés : i) -Système d’élevage camelin majoritairement à vocation viandeux pour 95% ; c’est le plus fréquent dans la région, et ii) -Système d’élevage camelin intensif à vocation sportive et culturelle avec une très faible proportion, seulement 5 % de l’échantillon enquêté. Le développement de l’élevage camelin dans la région de Bordj Omar Idriss mérite plus d’attention de la part des pouvoirs publiques par la mise en place d’une assiette infra structurelle permettant la transformation des produits camelins, mais surtout intégrer le camelin dans le concert touristique local en tant qu’outil permettant la découverte aux visiteurs de sites archéologiques et touristiques.

يتميز الجمل بالقدرة على التكيف مع القساوة البيئية الصحراوية واالستمرار في التكاثر واإلنتاج. تهدف الدراسة الحالية إلى تحديد مجال تربية اإلبل في منطقة برج عمر إدريس. بنا ًء على الدراسات االستطالعية التي أجريت على 22من مربي اإلبل، أظهر أن غالبية المربين مستقرين من نوع مربين فقط. باإلضافة إلى ذلك، تم تحديد نوعين من أنظمة اإلنتاج: ٲ( -نظام تربية اإلبل موجه للحوم بنسبة 95٪؛ هو األكثر شيو ًعا في المنطقة، و، ب( -نظام تربية مكثف لإلبل ذو توجه رياضي وثقافي بنسبة منخفضة للغاية 5٪ فقط من العينة التي تم مسحها. يستحق تطوير تربية اإلبل في منطقة برج عمر إدريس مزي ًدا من االهتمام من السلطات العامة من خالل إنشاء مراكز تسمح بمعالجة منتجات اإلبل، ولكن قبل كل شيء دمج الجمل في السياحية المحلية كأداة تتيح للزوار اكتشاف المواقع األثرية والسياحية.

The dromedary is characterized by its ability to adapt to the Saharan ecological harshness allowing it to reproduce and produce. The purpose of this study is to situate the scope of camel farming in the region of Bordj Omar Idriss. It is on the basis of surveys carried out among 22 camel drivers that the majority of herders who are sedentary, of breeder type. In addition, two types of production system have been identified: i)- Camel farming system, mainly for meat purposes for 95%; it is the most frequent in the region, and ii)- Intensive camel breeding system with sporting and cultural vocation with a very low proportion, only 5% of the surveyed sample. The development of camel farming in the Bordj Omar Idriss region deserves more attention from the public authorities by setting up an infrastructural base allowing the processing of camel products, but above all integrating the camel in the concert local tourism as a tool allowing visitors to discover archaeological and tourist sites
