Abstract: The relationship between physical self-esteem and academic achievement in physical education is an important topic that has long been a source of question for researchers in the sports and psychological field, hence this study that examined the statistical relationship between physical self-esteem for students of the Department of Physical Education and their academic achievement in the applied units. With regard to the spatial framework, the field study was conducted in the Department of Physical Education of the Institute of Science and Techniques of Physical and Sports Activities at the University of Msila, and the third year students were relied on as a study sample, while for the methodological aspect, the descriptive approach was relied upon as a method of study, and using the physical self-assessment scale and student points forms As tools for collecting data, the results came to confirm the presence of a positive relationship of statistical significance between physical self-esteem and academic achievement in students' applied units at the level of 0.01, meaning that the greater the student’s physical self-esteem, the greater the Night school in applied units
