Abstract: This research is a field study that aims to reveal the non-adaptive knowledge plans in mothers of autistic children by following the descriptive approach. It was applied to a sample of mothers who follow their children in one of the psychiatric centers or clinics in the city of Ouargla, and their number reached 60 mothers. We used Geoffrey Young's non-adaptive early knowledge planes scale, in its abbreviated version. Through the results obtained, we wanted to know the effect of the predominant plans in the mothers of autistic children in the way they take care of their children and help them to succeed in the psychological, speech therapy and pedagogical sponsorship that they receive in these psychiatric centers and clinics, and in this way it is easy to promote this category and its integration into society as active people
