Abstract: The deposition of barium sulfates is one of the major and most serious problems in oil fields, and in particular in the field TFT, the formation of these deposits is the result of the incompatibility between the injection water rich in sulfate anions and the reservoir water which contains barium cations. To solve this problem our work is based on studying the deferent used methods in TFT field and The final result of the investigation is a combined solution that couples selective separation with a minimum of anti-settling product injections downstream of the sulfate battery separators before the residual water meets the buffer tank
