dc.description.abstractThis study aimed at identifying the degree to which students of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Kasdi Merbah Ouargla use active learning strategies (cooperative learning - brainstorming - problem solving). The researcher used the descriptive approach to verify the study hypotheses. The study tool (questionnaire) was also designed and applied to a sample of (100) male and female students, who were chosen accidentally. The statistical treatment was done using (spss) version 22 depending on statistical methods (arithmetic mean - standard deviation - t-test.( The results of the study were: The degree of students' use of strategies was at a low degree. The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the students' use of strategies attributed to the variable of gender and specialization (Humanities Sciences - Social Sciences).en_US
