Abstract: The article deals with one of the most important modern concepts in health psychology, on which Arab research is still lacking a feeling of psychological cohesion "for Antonovski " (1979) in his studies on health and disease, and the current study aims to identify levels of Feelings of psychological cohesion and the differences in it according to the type of disease, its duration and the sex of the patients. The study used the descriptive exploratory method, and the (abbreviated) Lantonovsky psychological cohesion scale, which was applied to a sample of 110 patients with chronic diseases, in the city of Ouargla, Algeria, who were chosen in an intentional way. The results of the study found a low level of feeling of the sense of coherence in patients with chronic disease. The study also found no significant differences in psychological cohesion by sex and type of disease, While the differences were statistically significant in the sense of coherence depending on the duration of the disease.
