Abstract: The separation of the maternal and fetal Electrocardi- ograms (ECGs) from skin electrodes located on the mother’s body may be modeled as a blind source separation (BSS) problem, in this paper, we propose a singular value decomposition (SVD) as a tool to separate the maternal and fetal ECG signals.
