The impact of Turkish drama as a soft power on the Algerian youth

Abstract

This study is considered part of audience studies research, where we addressed three aspects to observe the impact of Turkish Dramas: the cultural aspect on the youth of Ouargla, the revival of Ottoman Turkish history among Ouargla youth, and finally, the aesthetics of this drama that revitalized the Turkish economy, along with the opinions of Ouargla youth regarding it. To address this aim, the researcher employed a survey study in which a questionnaire was designed as a tool of data collection. We adopted a quantitative data collection approach. The researcher chose the youth of Ouarglaprovince as respondents of the needed data for this study. The researcher worked on a sample composed of 90 participant (male-female). Based on the results of the question asked in the questionnaire, it is safe to say that more than a half of the respondents who participated in this study were “females” . Also, the study aimed To identify the impact of Turkish drama as a soft power tool utilized by Turkey to achieve its cultural diplomacy objectives on the study’s sample.In addition, To uncover the ideas adopted by the research community after being exposed to the historical drama as a soft power tool and its use to revive the great ottoman empire .and finally, To examine the main aesthetic elements that contributed in the development of turkey’s economy according to the youth of Ouargla . .

تنتمي هذه الدراسة لدراسات الجمهور ، حيث تناولنا ثلاثة محاور لرصد تأثير الدراما التركية الجانب الثقافي على شباب ورقلة ، وإحياء التاريخ التركي العثماني بين شباب ورقلة ، وأخيراً جماليات هذه الدراما. أنعش الاقتصاد التركي وآراء شباب ورقلة فيه. ولتحقيق هذا الهدف استخدم الباحث دراسة مسحية تم فيها تصميم استبيان كأداة لجمع البيانات. اعتمدنا نهج جمع البيانات الكمية. اختارت الباحثة شباب ولاية ورقلة كمستجيبين للبيانات اللازمة لهذه الدراسة. عملت الباحثة على عينة مكونة من 90 مشارك (ذكر - أنثى). بناءً على نتائج السؤال المطروح في الاستبيان ، يمكن القول أن أكثر من نصف المبحوثين الذين شاركوا في هذه الدراسة كانوا من "الإناث". كما هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على تأثير الدراما التركية كأداة القوة الناعمة التي تستخدمها تركيا لتحقيق أهداف الدبلوماسية الثقافية على عينة الدراسة ، بالإضافة إلى الكشف عن الأفكار التي يتبناها مجتمع البحث بعد التعرض للدراما التاريخية. كأداة للقوة الناعمة واستخدامها لإحياء الإمبراطورية العثمانية العظيمة ، وأخيراً دراسة العناصر الجمالية الرئيسية التي ساهمت في تنمية الاقتصاد التركي من وجهة شباب ورقلة.
