رفت الحركة الأدبية العربية نشاطا كبيرا في عصر التدوين، تمخّضت عنه العديد من المؤلفات التي تعدُّ اليوم أمهات الكتب، منها كتاب "طبقات فحول الشعراء" لصاحبه ابن سلاّم الجمّحي، الذي يعدُّ أول كتاب دوِّن في النقد العربي بمقاييس علمية موضوعيّة -إلى حدٍّ بعيد- ومنهج متميّز، في زمن عرف حركة ثقافية كبيرة، كانت دافعا كبيرا في تأليف هذا المصنّف، فما هي الملابسات التاريخيّة التي صاحبت تأليف هذا المصنّف النقدي؟ وما هو منهج هذا الكتاب الذي يجعله يسمو على كلّ مؤلفات عصره؟ وما هي أهميته العلمية والنقدية والحضارية؟ The Arab literary movement witnessed a great activity in the era of blogging, which resulted in many books that are today considered the mothers of books, including the book “Tabaqat Al-Shoara’a” by its author Ibn Salam Al-Jamahi. Which is considered the first book written in Arabic criticism with objective scientific standards - to a large extent - and a distinguished methodology, at a time when a great cultural movement was known, which was a great motivation for the authoring of this workbook.
