dc.description.abstractThe present study aimed at identifying the most important obstacles to the development of the creative thinking skills among students of the intermediate stage from the point of view of the Professor and student, associated with the following areas: Obstacles on the students themselves, the obstacles relating to the professor, the obstacles on the curriculum and obstacles related to the educational environment. The sample consisted of (42) professors, (78) students at the intermediate stage, chosen randomly. The researcher used the descriptive approach. And adopted the "Sissi Ahando" scale (2017) consisting of (45) items. the results indicated that the most important obstacles to developing creative thinking skills for students of the Intermediate stage are -the use of fast judgments without any effort to generate them, and -accustomed to memorizing, and recalling information and neglecting focus, -teacher lack of scientific and educational experiences , in addition to the weak knowledge of the methods that encourage creative thinking - academic content intensity, the short time and the absence of a specific time plan for students to carry out educational activities, classroom size, which limits the use of teaching methods that develop creativity.en_US
