Abstract: The study conducted on the assessment and study of the impact of the water production at the level of Central Processing Facility (CPF) at the level of Ourhoud field. This evaluation is based on selecting the three candidate wells (well 1, well 2, and well 3), Gathering and processing all the necessary logs and geological data as well as all the essential petrophysical characteristics in order to carry out our water shut off operation. Our work aims to study the main parameters by choosing the candidate wells (high water cut) for the water shut off and to evaluate the results obtained before and after the execution of the operation. This strategy applied in the Ourhoud field had positive results in the three wells by reducing the water cut and increasing the oil flow (well 1: WC=42%, Qh=567 Sm3/d; well 2: WC=52%, Qh=741Sm3/d; well 3: WC=1%, Qh=113 Sm3/d)
