باتت الرواية التاريخية المعاصرة فنا من الفنون النثرية السردية التي تعتمدعلى المزج بين ماهو تاريخي، وما هو متخيل. تناول موضوع هذه المذكرة: التاريخي والمتخيل، وأهم الصور التي ظهر بها في رواية مغامرة في مدينة الموتى لــــــ إبراهيم فرغلي، كما وقفت على مفهوم التاريخ والمتخيل وعلاقتهما ببعض، ومفهوم الرواية التاريخية، وعلاقتها بالواقع ، وكيف دمج إبراهيم فرغلي التاريخ، والمتخيل في روايته مغامرة في مدينة الموتى؟
