Abstract: This anthropological study aimed at time-monitoring in practicing spell recitation through representations in the urban sphere of the Ancient Palace of Ouargla. To this end, the study got into the inclusiveness of the treatment process, and the implication hereof . The process included the patient’s examination, the diagnosis of the condition, and the treatment. This has been inclusive of an interpretation of the treatment rituals during the therapeutic practice. The thick description approach which is considered an anthropological data collection method was adopted in this study. Hence, participant observation and in- depth interview are considered the most suitable choices as they form crucial instruments in the output of this research . The overall number of the sessions of practicing the spell recitation is (38) The sessions were conducted by (07) reciters. The findings showed that time representations of the spell recitation are general because they are related to the practice of the spell recitation. The prevailing perception among the reciters is personified and it deos not imply « the duration », The perception is derived verbally based on the patient’s experience. Therefore, time is bounded by magical and religious practices and beliefs
