dc.description.abstract | This paper aimed to examine the role of government health spending in achieving better levels of sustainable development in Algeria. In our research, we have adopted the analytical descriptive approach to analyze the situation of health expenditure and sustainable development in Algeria for the theoretical aspect. Concerning the applied aspect, we carried out an econometric study to examine the impact of public health spending, which is the independent variable, on sustainable development. We selected the Human Development Index (HDI), which is the main sustainable development indicator as a dependent variable. We used the Engle & Granger method to analyze joint integration and found that there is a balance between public health spending and long-term sustainable development in Algeria’s case | en_US |
