dc.description.abstract | The present study aims to identify the verbal and non-verbal communicative behaviour of children of the autism spectrum at the Pedagogical Psychological Centre for mentally disabled children and the empowerment of 02 and the special psychiatric clinic. The descriptive curriculum, based on the study of reality or phenomenon as it actually exists, was used as a qualitative and quantified description. 23 children belonging to the Centre and 23 children belonging to the private clinic who are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder were chosen in a deliberate manner and to ensure that there is communicative behaviour, whether verbal or non-verbal, Verbal and non-verbal communication skills scale applied to the study sample The child diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder in special departments and registered in specialized centres, Has the ability to acquire better verbal and non-verbal communication skills than a child with autism spectrum disorder in a private clinic After collecting and statistically processing the data, the findings concluded that the child diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, whether in a special section of the specialized pedagogical psychiatric centre or even in the private clinic, has the ability to acquire verbal and non-verbal communication skills and there is no apparent difference in acquiring and developing communication skills. | en_US |
