Abstract: The study deals with the biological diversity of weeds at Ouargla region. Three agricultural areas have been considered: Hassi Ben Abdellah, N’Goussa and Chott. As regards the type of weeds, it has been found 75 species be longing to 26 botanical familles, of which Poaceae and Asteraceae are the most important. Among the total flora, both families represent respectively 21.33 % and 16 %. The Thérophytes are the most important biological kind most important with 57 % of the total flora. The most diversified flora has been found at Hassi Ben Abdellah palm-grove (S3) with 37 species. The others results are as follows: 34 species in the open field (S4), 23 species at the palmgrove of Chott (S8), 23 species in each greenhouse (S1, S2), 16 species under pivot center, 12 species at N’Goussa palm-grove (S6), and 7 species at N’Goussa palm-grove (S7). The flora of weeds divided into 39 introduced species and 36 native species. The flora of weeds of N’Goussa (34 species) is richer than that of Chott (32 species) and that of Hassi Ben Abdellah (66 species) is the richest one
