Diagnostic de l'elevage de l'autruche en ALGERIE étude critique d'une ferme d'élevage

Abstract

Dans ce travail qui a permit de diagnostiquer la situation de l’élevage de l’Autruche en Algérie, à travers une ferme d’élevage type, on a remarqué qu’il y a plusieurs défaillances qui tournent essentiellement autour de la disponibilité de l’espace, des aléas climatiques, des pratiques de l’alimentation, et de celles pour la stimulation de la ponte. Ces défaillances représentent les principales contraintes face au développement de l’élevage de l’autruche en Algérie. Après analyse de la situation de cet élevage suite à un suivi du comportement des autruches en fonction des conditions environnementales et climatiques, durant 56 Jours nous avons acquit des connaissances concernant la vie et les mœurs de cet oiseau ainsi que les relations autruche- éleveur et vice-versa. Des recommandations permettant de faire face aux contraintes inhérentes à cet élevage, ont été émises dans une perspective de se mettre en voie d’un élevage extensif avec une production comparable aux pays leader de cet élevage.

In this work which a made it possible to diagnose the situation of the breeding of the Ostrich in Algeria, through a standard farm of breeding, one noticed that there are several failures which turn primarily around the availability of space, the climatic risks, the practices of the feeding, and of those for the stimulation of the laying. These failures represent the principal constraints of the development of the breeding of the ostrich in Algeria. After analysis of the situation of this breeding following a follow-up of the behavior of the ostriches according to the environmental and climatic conditions, during 56 days we have receipt of knowledge concerning the life and the manners of this bird as well as the relationships ostrich-stockbreeder and stockbreeder-ostrich. Recommendations making it possible to face the inherent constraints in this breeding, were put to guide and make it in process of an extensive breeding with a production comparable with the countries leaders of this breeding.
