dc.description.abstract | This investigation, undertaken in Context Tunisian Semi-arid is to evaluate the methane fermentation applied to biomass poultry, established at the pilot industrial digester in Hammam Sousse (Sousse Governorate). Monitoring the digester, with a useful capacity of 300 m3, focused, firstly, on the determination of the characteristics of the poultry effluent by the analysis of two physic-chemical parameters (pH and Dry Matter: DM) and two environmental parameters (Suspended Solids: SS and Biological Oxygen Demand: BOD5), and secondly, on the energy evaluation of qualitative productivity (biomethane composition and calorific value) of produced biogas. This investigation has identified some observations which can reveal principally: - the best records of remediation, about SS and DBO5, are observed at tailings pond of the studied installation. - the interest in the use of the biogas produced conditioning was confirmed by comparing the results before and after treatment as well as on the biomethane content (CH4%) than on the lower calorific value (PCI). - the biomethanation installation requires some consolidations, generally considered better for the remediation of droppings poultry, improved energy productivity and better agronomic recovery of solid and liquid generated waste. | en_US |
