Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the key transformations in Algerian Hydrocarbon legislations; the hydrocarbon law had been changed and amended in Algeria in several contexts and different stakes, including amendment by ordinanceto enable the legislation body a better understanding of the law implementation, and the new enactment of 2013 has established new institutional framework but, seems gloomy and insufficient according to many experts, and also raises the same concerns of International Oil &Gas Companies about institutional and contractual regime, the market liberalizing options and the changes in global petroleum industry.
