Xs have been monitored in waste municipal, by using ANALYST-I as the diffusive samplers. After exposition to the air, the VOC collection device was extracted with carbon disulfide, and chemical characterization was performed by applying gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometer detection (GC-MS). According to VOC diffusive sampling and the GC-MSD determination (operated in both selected-ion-detection and full scan modes), the contents of benzene and toluene in the air were 15.90 and 20.26 µg m-3 respectively. The concentration of ethylbenzene in air atmosphere of the waste landfill was 3.21 µg m-3 and the total xylenes isomers concentration was 8.59 µg m-3. Within VOCs identified in air atmosphere of the waste landfill, BTEXs and limonene are the most abundant they account approximately 45 % of the total VOCsen_US
