Résumé: Since the first century AH, the Poetic evidences had an effective contribution to the establishment of Grammar, as well as the interpretationof the Holy Quran. Despite that the beginnings were limited and confined to explain some of the strange words of the Holy Quran, but  Later it was expandedtoincludevariouslinguisticissues, and though the Poetic evidence as a term was not known nor used by  the grammarians nor others,  at that century (1st AH). In this paper we will try to answer the following questions: what's the Poetic evidence? whatisits significance?

Résumé: The term communication, with its variant dimensions, lies in the world’s different nations and communities. It is created by people’s universal experiences of meeting and living in communities of different linguistic codes. Being a good communicator involves the realization of the equation of being a bilingual. Bilinguals are persons whose linguistic ability in two languages is similar to that of the native speaker. However, language alone is not the only arm needed in the field of code switching since culture has its great share in the operation. Thus, a bilingual must have the linguistic resources and social strategies to affiliate with many different cultures and ways of using language. Hence, isn’t bilingualism a sign of the acceptance of language diversity and cultural pluralism (in a multicultural world)? Isn’t it a way to abandon one’s own language loyalty – one’s identity and rejection of the ancestral culture? On the one hand, through bilingualism, a bilingual feels socially and cognitively enriched by an additional language (the spread of intercultural sense). On the other hand, a bilingual may fall in the trap of anomia ( the suffering from a feeling of social uncertainty or dissatisfaction ) as it is widely believed that there is a natural connection between the language spoken by members of a social group and that group’s identity: by their accent, vocabulary, and their discourse patterns. Despite of the fact that a bilingual may live in a state of flux of losing or keeping one’s identity (the individual’s sense of the self), the world’s communities have to bear the slogan of ‘the dialogue of cultures’.

Résumé: This paper investigateswhether the interlanguage rhythm produced by 20 third year Algerian EFL students at Mentouri Universityis classified as a discrete category or along a continuum. The rhythm metrics (%V and ∆C), yield that the informants’ speech rhythm is ‘intermediate’, merging a stress-timed ∆C and a syllable-timed %V.The study also calculates nPVI and rPVI and compares the results obtained from both set of metrics with those found in Hamdi(1).The comparison revealsthat %V and ∆C are the best rhythm metrics in classifying the present interlanguage rhythm.

Résumé: An investigation of coordination and the link that should exist between pre-tertiary and tertiary study of EFL was carried out. The study relied only on one means of research for implementation: the questionnaire. The questions mainly sought direct answers about the kind of linkage between the aforementioned phases either in the form of coordination or other ones. The issues which are addressed are: the nature of contact, taking one form or another, between teachers of pre-tertiary and tertiary study of EFL; criteria of syllabus design at university; and sources of pedagogical solutions to some problems that teachers of pre-university study of EFL might face. The results are analyzed and subsequent implications are formed.
