Résumé: This thesis optimizes the Gas Lift performance of three wells equipped with a Concentric
Tubing completion. Using PIPESIM simulation, the economic optimum gas injection rate
was determined for each well, while keeping the injection depth fixed due to practical field
constraints. Results showed that a strategic reallocation of the available lift gas—reducing
over-injection in one well to kick-off a dead well and boost an under-performing one—
increased total field production by 52.4 m³/d. This significant gain was achieved without
increasing total gas consumption or compression requirements, proving the high technical
and economic efficiency of the optimization strategy

Auteur(s): Khechiche, Oussama; Belalia, Khaled; Lebledj, Abdelhakim
Résumé: Short Radius Sidetracking is a drilling technique used to enhance hydrocarbon recovery from
existing wells. It is employed to restore well productivity, bypass damaged sections, and access
hydrocarbon zones that cannot be reached otherwise, while minimizing operational costs
compared to drilling a new well. This study examines the implementation of Short Radius
Sidetracking in the Ohanet Field through a case study of the TJNE-5 well. The study analyzes
the planning, design, and execution of the sidetracking operation, including whipstock setting,
well trajectory design, tool selection, and directional control. We pay attention to the problems
we faced while drilling, such as the drill not being able to turn sharply the well not being stable
and not being able to control the direction of the drill accurately. We also look at how well the
drilling worked how efficient it was and the result to see if the sidetracking method we used
was a good choice. What we found shows that Short Radius Sidetracking is a way to re-enter
the part of the well where the oil is without spending too much time or money. This study shows
that planning carefully using the drilling technology and watching what is happening in real-
time are important for making sure that sidetracking operations work well in complicated oil
and gas fields like Ohanet. Short Radius Sidetracking is a solution, for Short Radius
Sidetracking operations. The Short Radius Sidetracking method used in the Ohanet Field is an
example of how Short Radius Sidetracking can be used to improve well productivity
