Résumé: The present synchronic study of the flora of succession was carried out in the abandoned cereal
perimeters in the region of Ouargla (Sahara, Algeria). The stations selected are spread over four
dropout age groups. The results obtained indicate the identification of 68 species distributed over
20 botanical families with the dominance of Poaceae, Asteraceae, Brassicaceae and
Amaranthaceae and 59 genera with the remarkable contribution of the genera Launaea, Bromus.
Regarding the contribution of biological types, 08 groups are determined with the dominance of
Therophytes. The analysis of the flora of succession according to the different categories of
abandonment age shows a heterogeneous distribution of the plant species identified. The presence
of Poaceae, Asteraceae, Brassicaceae and Amaranthaceae is remarkable for all of the
abandonment age categories with a strong dominance of Therophytes. Species of Saharo-Arabian,
Mediterranean origin and those endemic to North Africa are the most represented across the
different age categories of abandonment. The analysis of the succession flora made it possible to
characterize the stages of succession after abandonment of the cereal areas in the Ouargla region.

Résumé: Renewable energy systems and their efficiency have major factors on building’s sector. This study
concerns an experimental investigation of hybrid photovoltaic thermal collector, simulating a
building integrated photovoltaic façade. The retrofitted solar panel ensured good electrical
conversion efficiency with an average gain of 7% and 8.85% for the two optimal configurations
compared to the conventional panel. Besides, the heat discharged from the cells preheats the
airflow at rear of the panel resulting thermal efficiency of 60 to 70%. Amongst the tested
configurations, two cases showed electrical and thermal efficiencies’ enhancement: lower power
device in air extraction mode and higher power device for incoming air case.

Résumé: GIS cartographic processing was carried out to verify a hypothesis put forward by some authors,
stating that the position of isolated argan tree stations in northern Morocco is due to recent
dissemination. With cartographic evidence, we were able to deduce a historical link between the
10th and 12th century, where the caravan routes crossed the two islets, Beni-Snassen and Wadi
Grou.

Résumé: This work focused on the metabolic and kinetic analysis of two strains of yeasts Saccharomyces
cerevisiae (S1 and S3), isolated from juice of dates poorer quality Degla-Beida and Mech-Degla
respectively. Based on the methodology of the experimental plans to study the influence of
environmental factors (pH, temperature, initial concentration in ethanol and salinity) upon the
growing of the yeasts. The parameter value of the growing of Saccharomyces cerevisiae are fixed
according to the results of the experiment plan and the data collection was made according to a
centered composite plan, so as to study the linear effects, the quadratic effects and the interactions
between factors. The results obtained show that the yeast S3 was able to grow at an aggressive pH
of order 3 and at a temperature between 20 and 38°C in the presence of a high alcohol content
14%. The production of the S3 cell biomass was improved (Xmax = 4.7308 g/l) by optimizing the
temperature, pH, NaCl and ethanol content factors set respectively at 29°C., 4.34, 2% and 3%.
23%. It has been concluded that this strain may well adapt to industrial uses for large scale
bioethanol production.
