Titre: الاحتياجات التدريبية للمرشدين التربويين الأردن Auteur(s): أحمد عبد المجيد صمادي Résumé: The purpose of this study was to investigate training needs of educational counselors at schools at the north province of Jordan in light of educational level, experience and specialization. To achieve the study purposes, data were collected through using survey instrument, validity and reliability of the instrument were ensured. The study population included all educational counselors at schools at the north province of Jordan, totaling ( 438 ) male and female educational counselors. The study was conducted on a sample drawn from the study population. The study results indicated medium assessment degrees for educational counselors on the total study instrument (2.61). The study results indicated that the sixth dimension (3.12) ranked first, while the eleventh dimension (2.34 ) ranked last. Significant differences were found in the sample assessment due to educational level, counselor holding bachelor degree has more training needs than counselors who hold higher degrees, and due to experience, counselors with 5-years of experience or less has more training needs than counselors with experiences of more than 5-years , and due to specialization, counselors with sociology major has more training needs than counselors of other majors. The first objective of this programme is to realize a strategy in protecting and curing , but the general objective is to practise the theoretical part of the counseling operation. Titre: Muslim Counselors and the Western Code Of Ethics Auteur(s): Ahmed Al-Rabae Résumé: The present study “Muslim counselors and the Western Code of Ethics” was designed to review and discuss the issue of the ethics of counseling as seen by Western schools of counseling and applied by Muslim counselors with Muslim clients. The study reports that Islamic moral values as stated in Islamic teachings must be implemented in the counseling process. For Muslim counselors the Western code of ethics cannot be applied blindly and without modification with Muslim clients. When the Islamic moral values are in conflict with the code of ethics, neither the counselor nor the client will be at peace with their principles.
