    <title>EFFET DES DIFFERENTS MODES DE SECHAGE SUR LE CONTENU PHENOLIQUE ET BIOLOGIQUE D’UNE PLANTE SPONTANEE A CARACTERE MEDICINALE DU SAHARA SEPTENTRIONAL ALGERIEN</title>

    <description>Titre: EFFET DES DIFFERENTS MODES DE SECHAGE SUR LE CONTENU PHENOLIQUE ET BIOLOGIQUE D’UNE PLANTE SPONTANEE A CARACTERE MEDICINALE DU SAHARA SEPTENTRIONAL ALGERIEN

Résumé: This study focuses on the contribution to the optimization of the effect of different drying methods&#xD;
(open air, oven, solar dryer and freeze-drying in comparison with the fresh plant) of a spontaneous plant with a&#xD;
medicinal character in the Sahara. Northern Algerian (Cymbopogon schoenanthus) on the content of secondary&#xD;
metabolites. The determination of the yield of phenolic compounds showed the richness of the dry crude extracts&#xD;
in all the drying modes carried out compared to the fresh sample. The best yields are obtained with freeze-dried&#xD;
and steamed samples (15.45% and 11.5%) respectively. The dosage of some secondary metabolites revealed the&#xD;
presence of 1.111 mg EAG/g DM in polyphenols in the taxa dried in the solar dryer and 0.031 mg EQ/g DM in&#xD;
flavonoids in the air-dried samples and 0.061 mg EAG/g DM in tannins in steamed samples. The DPPH test.&#xD;
revealed the strong antioxidant activity of Cymbopogon schoenanthus when freeze-dried or sun-dried, their&#xD;
EC50s are 0.222 mg/ml and 0.412 mg/ml, respectively. This anti-radical activity would be linked to the&#xD;
temperature of their desiccation not exceeding 45°C. Lyophilization and the solar dryer allow the preservation or&#xD;
even the increase of the antioxidant activity of the extracts tested, translated by the reduction of the EC50.&#xD;
According to the different results obtained, it can be concluded that freeze-drying and solar dryer seem the most&#xD;
preservative of phenolic compounds and of the antioxidant activity of all the extracts investigated.

Résumé: The theme of our research is to describe the structural characteristics, the natural regeneration and the&#xD;
demographic structure of zeen oak in the Ouled Bechih forest (Souk Ahras). Data were collected by random&#xD;
sampling on 6 square plots of 0.09 ha. The dendrometric parameters measured were diameter at 1.3 m above&#xD;
ground level, total tree height and seedlings with diameter ≤ 10 cm. The diameter and height structures were&#xD;
fitted to the theoretical Weibull distribution using Minitab14 and XLStat 2022 software. The main results&#xD;
obtained indicate that mean height, mean diameter and basal area are significantly different in the 6 plots. The&#xD;
average density of Zeen oak trees in the Ouled Bechih forest is 157 trees/ha with a basal area of 22.65±5.53&#xD;
m2/ha, the natural regeneration is average, it is 234.27%. The analysis of the diameter and height structures&#xD;
shows predominance of old trees with large diameters and high heights. These results constitute a database,&#xD;
which contributes to the improvement and sustainable management of the Zeen oak in this forest

    <title>L'OASIS ALGERIENNE : CONDAMNEE PAR LE PASSE MAIS PROJETEE SUR LE RENOUVEAU</title>

    <description>Titre: L'OASIS ALGERIENNE : CONDAMNEE PAR LE PASSE MAIS PROJETEE SUR LE RENOUVEAU
Auteur(s): SENOUSSI Abdelhakim
Résumé: Algeria, a country with a hemmed-in desert where the oasis is a veritable constellation of unchanging green&#xD;
spots on a mineral immensity of sand and rock, representing a haven of life, born mainly from the conjunction of the&#xD;
sun, the genius of man, water and the date palm.&#xD;
Unfortunately condemned by a past that sequestered it in isolation, under the pretext of not being able to ensure its own&#xD;
reproducibility, the oasis has not been able to achieve its true lustre despite a very glorious history at all levels. A real&#xD;
island of social life (religious, cultural), of economic activity (agriculture, crafts, trade, small trades) and an ecologically&#xD;
functional system, whose cohesion is ensured by the complementarity of interests.&#xD;
At the dawn of the 2000s, a new era is taking shape for the Algerian oasis revealed by the launch of large-scale&#xD;
development operations. It is therefore legitimate to ask what meaning should be attributed to this spatial entity?&#xD;
It could be answered that it is through the implementation of an integrated multidimensional concept and a combination&#xD;
of sectors that the oasis should be considered as an agro-socio-economic-ecological system, exploited, managed and&#xD;
analysed in its entirety.&#xD;
Indeed, the establishment of a new spatial map respecting local potential is a guarantee of sustainability. Between the&#xD;
promotion of oasis products and the emergence of industries, archetypal Saharan terroirs are grafted on. It is from&#xD;
ecotourism and the processing industry that oasis development must be undertaken.&#xD;
In sum, from now on the key to good governance of the oasis will have to be based on the triangular of sustainability&#xD;
combining ecological viability, socio-economic profitability and technical-agronomic reliability. This is the added value&#xD;
that this synthesis attempts to elucidate.

Résumé: Modern medicine uses many compounds derived from plants as an essential raw material in the pharmaceutical&#xD;
industry. Bunium mauritancum is one of the many plants which, throughout history, have had a reputation in the&#xD;
medical field. The main objective of this study was to evaluate bioactive substances, particularly polyphenols&#xD;
and flavonoids, as well as an evaluation of the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity of extracts from the&#xD;
leaves of this species. The sample was subjected to maceration in methanol, and the yield obtained from the&#xD;
aerial part is of the order of 3.1%. The quantitative analysis of total phenols and flavonoids revealed the presence&#xD;
of significant amounts respectively 123.80 ± 1.99 μg EAG / mg and 76.79 ± 9.039 μg EQ / mg of extract.&#xD;
Moreover, the methanoic extract of the leaves contains a strong reducing power and antioxidant capacities with&#xD;
respect to the DPPH radical with an IC50 of 19.36 mg / ml. The in vitro evaluation of the anti-inflammatory&#xD;
activity of extracts from the leaves showed a percentage inhibition of 40.11%. Our results demonstrate the&#xD;
remarkable potential of this plant as a valuable source of antioxidants exhibiting remarkable effects biologically
